The Bendix King MST 70B functions as an ADS-B “Out” unit.

The MST 70B manufactured by Bendix King has a form factor that is compatible with your existing Bendix King MST 67A Transponder.    The MST 70B is an ICAO Level 3 transponder, delivering the latest functionality required for ICAO ACAS II mandate compliance, European Elementary Surveillance (ELS), Enhanced Mode S Surveillance (EHS) and Downlink of Aircraft Parameters (DAPs).  It is certified for most aircraft although it’s ADS-B 1090 (ES) Extended Squitter MHz functionality was designed specifically for aircraft flying above 18,000 feet.

This unit is light weight, utilizes low power consumption, and functions as an ADS-B “Out” transponder which meets the FAA’s ADS-B mandated requirements. The light-weight MST 70B transmits ADS-B “Out” data from your aircraft to other nearby aircraft and Air Traffic Control.  The higher level of ADS-B “Out”  transmission enables reliability which includes precise flight data, position, speed and intent of the aircraft.
