Description

L3’s Lynx NGT-9000RD is the remote mounted version of the NGT 9000 with antenna diversity.  It’s designed for use with newer integrated glass cockpits and displays ADS-B traffic and weather on panel-mounted avionics that use the popular ARINC 429, RS-232 or RS-422 protocols. It is a Mode S transponder providing 1090ES (Mode S Extended Squitter) ADS-B Out as well as 1090 MHz and 978 MHz (UAT) ADS-B In. A Wi-Fi interface module is included for connectivity to tablet flight apps and has an integrated and embedded WAAS/GPS.

The NGT 9000RD also displays traffic, terrain and winds and temperatures at specified altitudes improving the aircraft’s situational awareness.  The system features it’s own internal WAAS/GPS and displays real-time NOTAMs and Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) airspace.  The NextGen Active Traffic Enablement feature is an exclusive built-in benefit that is included with the NGT 9000RD.
